We endeavour to collect and use your personal information only with your knowledge and consent and typically when you make enquiries, register for information or other services or when you respond to communications from us (such as questionnaires or surveys).
The type of personal information we may collect could include, for example, your name and postal address, date of birth, gender, telephone and mobile numbers, email address etc. If you choose to provide us with any other personal information it will only be used in support of the intended purposes stated at the time at which it was collected, and subject to any preferences indicated by you. It is our obligation under GDPR to keep your information up to date, to not collect or retain excessive amounts of data, to protect your personal data from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, and to store them and, when appropriate, destroy them securely.
How will we use your information?
From time to time, we may use your information to contact you with information about our activities. We may contact you by email, phone, mail or SMS as per your personal preferences. Such activities may be: To inform you of news, events, activities and services; To administer attendance records; To provide an interactive website where email is used to communicate with users; To raise funds and promote the interests of the company; To manage our employees and volunteers; To maintain our own accounts and records (including the processing of Gift Aid applications).
To update your information please email the data administrator (‘enquiries [at] authenticbusiness [dot] solutions’) quote your name and address in the body of the email and tell us what you want to do.
When will we disclose your information to others?
Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be shared with staff, members and facilitators of Authentic Business Group CIC /Authentic Lives in order to carry out a service. We will not disclose any personal information to third parties unrelated to Authentic Business Group CIC / Authentic Lives without your consent. We may, however, be obliged to disclose your personal information to meet any legal or regulatory requirements or obligations in accordance with applicable UK or European law.
Our service providers
We do not sell or pass any of your personal information to any other organisations and/or individuals without your express consent, with the following exception – by providing us with your details you are giving us your express permission to transfer your data to our service providers. Where such details are shared we have confidentiality agreements in place that restrict the use of your information to the purpose for which it is provided and ensure it is stored securely and kept no longer than necessary. We may employ agents to carry out tasks on our behalf, such as processing donations. These agents are bound by contract to protect your data and we remain responsible for their actions.

Arbitration: At its sole discretion, ABG may require you to submit any disputes arising from the use of these Terms of Service or the Website, including disputes arising from or concerning their interpretation, violation, invalidity, non-performance, or termination, to final and binding arbitration under the LCIA Rules, which Rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The seat, or legal place, of arbitration shall be London, England. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English. By using the Website, you hereby consent to submission of any dispute to final and binding arbitration.
Limitation on Time to File Claims: Any cause of action or claim you may have arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the Website must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, otherwise, such cause of action or claim is permanently barred.
